Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

MotorDocket ("the app") is provided by Norkxii Pte Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

In short: your vehicle records are yours. We store them in your own account so they sync across your devices, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

MotorDocket does not collect your location, contacts, or browsing activity.

2. How we use your information

PurposeWhat this means
Provide the appStore and display your garage, records, documents and reminders.
Sync and backupKeep your data available across your devices and restore it when you reinstall or sign in elsewhere.
AI featuresRead details from documents and photos you choose to scan, and generate cover art from a photo you choose to upload.
RemindersNotify you about upcoming renewals and servicing.
SecurityVerify that requests come from a genuine app install and prevent abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. AI processing

Some features are powered by Google's Gemini models through Firebase AI Logic (Google Cloud Vertex AI):

These requests are processed by Google as our service provider and are not used to train Google's general-purpose models. Processing happens only for content you explicitly choose to scan, photograph or upload.

Identity numbers. Our scanning only ever extracts vehicle and policy details — make, model, plate number, dates, amounts and similar fields. We do not extract, index or search for NRIC, FIN, passport or other national identity numbers, even where a document you upload happens to show one. Documents are stored as you uploaded them, readable only by your own account. If you prefer, you may mask any identity number before uploading.

4. Where your data is stored, and overseas transfers

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) on infrastructure located in Singapore (asia-southeast1). Access is restricted by security rules so that records can only be read or written by the account that owns them.

Overseas processing. When you use an AI feature, the content you chose to scan or upload is processed by Google on Google Cloud infrastructure that may be located outside Singapore. As required by the Transfer Limitation Obligation under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, we transfer personal data overseas only under Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum and its standard contractual clauses, which bind Google to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA. Google acts as our data processor and does not use this content to train its general-purpose models.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and service.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual vehicles, records and documents at any time in the app; deleting a vehicle removes its stored files.

You can delete your entire account and all associated data yourself, at any time, from within the app: Settings → Delete account and data. This immediately and permanently removes your vehicles and their records, every uploaded document, receipt, photo and cover-art image, your preferences, and your sign-in account. It cannot be undone. See how to delete your account and data for the full steps and what is kept.

Deleting in the app is immediate and needs no request or waiting, so it is the best way to do this. If you can no longer sign in or no longer have the app installed, email admin@motordocket.com from the address linked to your account and we will action it within 30 days.

7. Guest use and signing in

You can use MotorDocket as a guest, in which case your data is tied to an anonymous account on that device. If you do not sign in, data may be lost when the app is uninstalled or the device is reset. Signing in with Google links your data to your Google account so it can be backed up and restored.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google's infrastructure. Access is enforced by per-user security rules, and Firebase App Check is used to verify that requests come from a genuine installation of the app. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children

MotorDocket is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to our processing of it. Most data can be viewed and edited directly in the app. For other requests, contact us at the address below.

11. Data Protection Officer

As required by section 11(3) of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, we have designated a Data Protection Officer responsible for ensuring our compliance with the PDPA. You can reach them for any question, access or correction request, complaint, or to withdraw consent:

Data Protection Officer
Norkxii Pte Ltd, Singapore
Email: admin@motordocket.com

We aim to acknowledge requests within 5 working days and to respond substantively within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page.
